The Story
As part of its mission in offering clients resources to learn more about alternative investments, Quest Trust Company hosted multiple conferences and networking mixers. As part of the marketing team, I was in charge of designing all visual material in print and digital formats.
As each of these events differed in scope, topics, and locations, they were designed with different visual identities in mind. The examples below were designed with a similar demographic in mind – 35-50 year old people interested in alternative assets investments (largely real estate) located in the Houston, Austin, and Dallas areas.

Elite Multifamily Summit
Paid Real Estate Investment Conference held in Dallas, TX 2023.
As the name states, the event was a conference related to multifamily investments, where experienced investors were invited to give presentations on strategies and share their knowledge. I created a house-shaped wordmark as the logo and chose a vibrant blue and purple gradient as background, decisions to give the event a fun, vibrant, and casual look. The marketing for this event also included slim sans-serif typefaces, images of multifamily buildings and the Margaret Hunt Hill in Dallas, Tx. All images in the promotional materials are framed inside triangular shapes that assimilate the angles of a house’s roof keeping up with the visual theme of real estate investments.

The Dynamic Duos Socials
Free Networking events held at Quest Trust Austin, Dallas, and Houston offices.
These networking mixers featured talks by couples who were also investment partners, giving their insights into their experience. Because they were held so closely to Valentine’s day and the presentation topics were related to couples, the marketing team gave the events a love/valentine theme. This is reflected through their visuals that feature a color palette that reflects the Valentine’s day feeling. The lightning bolt motif featured as a background element was inspired by 80s illustrations and with the intention of visually emphasizing the “power” couples aspect of the event.

Quest Expo
Paid Alternative Investments Conference held on Irving, TX 2024.
Quest Expo 2024 was the third annual expo on this format – a 2-3 day expo that featured talks by multiple investors on alternative assets, dozens of trade show booths activations, and hundredths of people in attendance. This was a large-scale event, possibly the largest that Quest had ever organized and as such, the first thing I was tasked with doing was designing a logo.
The logo is a continuation of the previous expos’ wordmark, following the same typeface but adding a small but prominent characteristic, an arrow pointing upwards as part of the X character, an element inspired by the visual motif of investment charts. This is a visual element that reflects the benefits that investors could get out this event. From then on, all the marketing and visual materials feature an expansive look that stays close to a set of typefaces and color-palettes but also adapts to certain promotions and campaigns like the Easter Sale displayed above.
